The recommended solvents that should be used with a specific ADS product are listed under “Recommended Solvents” in the product page. This, however, does not exclude you from being able to use our products with other solvents. We test each of our products with a limited number of popular solvents, and they may be highly soluble with certain unlisted solvents, or you may be able to use them with other solvents in solutions with lower concentrations of the products.

Most of our products, but not all, should be soluble in their “Recommended Solvents” at a concentration of 0.5% – 1.0%, if not higher. However, if you are having difficulty dissolving our products in a solution using the recommend solvent(s), heating up and sonicating the solution will help.

We recommend that you store our products in a cool area, away from light and moisture, and if possible, to pack it under an argon or nitrogen atmosphere (most of our products, with the exception of kilogram quantity dyes, come packed under argon).
